Got a nice letter from 1SGT KIM FOX this week, he was one of the first Wounded Warriors to receive one of my Adirondack Flagpoles back in 2011, serial # 0086. Nice story, after donating the flagpole I could not afford the shipping to Oregon, so I spoke to one of my clients in Shelburne, VT who is now a good friend. Asked him if he felt it would be appropriate to ask some of my more affluent clients to contribute to the shipping. He said "Yes, but you don't have to..." and wrote me a personal check on the spot for $1400 to get the flagpole delivered to Oregon.
1SGT fox was awarded the Bronze Star for his service in Iraq, and is a true hero in my eyes and those of many others. Here is what he had to say in his last letter to me: "Thank you very much Danny you don't know how much this means to me. You are a patriot and God bless you. You will never know how much you've done for me in so many ways. You my Brother are my Hero." Made my day. dk
